I think the text and color tools will actually be very easy. Some of the tools used in this video brought back memories and I think I can get the hang of trimming out a photo. I used to work with different layers all the time when drawing cartoons on Illustrator in middle school.      I like how the man in this tutorial zoomed in on what he was doing and walked us through by pausing and speaking about what he was doing.      Let's get straight to the point, I almost ripped my hair out doing this image on Dreamweaver. I know it does not look like much but I spent about 8 hours on it. My computer became a little slow, so I had to keep redoing my project, which drove me crazy. I would also have to come back the next day because the laptop would freeze up and not let me finish.      I have definitely learned a lot from using Dreamweaver in this project. The examples, and other student's projects helped me figure out mine as well. I took different ideas from other examples and made the project my own. I even added the gradient in the water to show the light from the sun shining off of it. I kind of got my inspiration from going to the beach to see the beautiful sunset and pink take over the sky. Overall, I am very proud of the outcome and that I did not get a concussion from banging my head against the wall. I think it looks exactly how I imagined it would look. ///////////////...

  The Internet, also known as the interconnected network, has connected millions across the world. The Internet is a global network of computers connected to each other which communicate through a standardized set of protocols (Bolkachov). Robert Elliot Kahn and Vinton Gray Cerf discovered the Internet in the 1960s. It was originally used for the government, but now we can use the internet to access sources and connect with other people. The World Wide Web differs from the Internet because it is simply the information you connect from the Internet. Tim Berners-Lee, computer scientist, made the Web in 1989 to fulfill the wishes of scientists and institutions in order to access information easier. Today we use it to interact with other people. The Internet and the World Wide Web are like father and son, you cannot have a son without a father. We have to connect to the Internet, the father, to access the World Wide Web, the son.  Berners-Lee created the first website at CERN in 1...

    I have always been interested in studying the media, as well as film. As a student majoring in communications, I'd take any chance to learn more about this field. I am also planning on minoring in film and media arts. I love to dance, model, and sing on the side. Caring for animals have been a passion of mine as well. Who knows, maybe I can work for Animal Planet in the near future.    Coming into this class, I had no idea what kind of assignments we would be working on. I feel extremely confident in this class and my professor seems very open-minded. Once Dr. Roundtree explained everything that will happen in this class, I became very interested. I believe I can expand my knowledge in digital media, and use the same skills learned once I graduate.
